I’m the author of San Diego Stories published in September 2024 by Cowboy Jamboree Press. My second full manuscript, A Question of Family, will be out from Stanchion Press in Feb, 2026.

I am a writer of stories, essays, and an unpublished novel. I’d long thought about creative writing but got serious about twelve years ago and applied to the MFA program at SDSU. For five years, I was “forced” to try out my dream which was wonderful.

I’ve been fortunate to have had some successes in publishing stories and essays, both in print and online. The Counter Pharma-Terrorist & The Rebound Queen is my published chapbook.

I serve as the fiction editor at The Twin Bill and read for Porcupine Literary.

In my “real life”, I’m a husband, dad, San Diego community college math professor, mentor in the Congolese refugee community, mountain biker, and mediocre hockey player.
